You wouldn’t buy a car without a test drive, or buy a pair of jeans without trying them on first. Most of us even ask to taste cheese on the deli counter! Here at Wreck and Cave, we think it’s important for you to try out the equipment on which you’re thinking about spending your money. We will meet you at a dive site (inland sites aren’t at risk from the weather, so we prefer these to play with equipment) and show you how to set up and use the equipment. We’ll go for a dive or two, and give you pointers on how to get the most from the gear. After that, we’ll talk through how you found the gear, and if you think it’s right for you. We’ll perhaps make some adjustments, or suggest other equipment if we think there might be a better solution.
All this is free of charge, and is not dependent on you purchasing any equipment. We really mean that!
One of our overriding principles is that we will not sell a customer something that we don’t think is appropriate for the diving they want to do. We want you to come back in the future, and to recommend us to your friends, so we need to make sure that you trust the advice we give, and the gear that we sell.
